Tubkaek Beach
Tubkaek Beach is a quiet, long stretch of sand known for its breathtaking sunsets and stunning views of the Koh Hong Islands. Here, visitors can hike to one of the most spectacular viewpoints in all of Krabi via the “Naga trek” located inside the National Park at the end of the beach.
Unlike Railay Beach or Koh Phi Phi, Tubkaek Beach is a lesser-known area of Krabi, making it an ideal place to enjoy a romantic sunset. Since it’s located right next to Phulay Bay, the resort prepared a delicious picnic for us one afternoon and recommended that we explore the beach.
We stumbled across an oceanfront resort called Tubkaek Sunset Beach Resort, with quaint cabins, restaurants, palm trees, and hammocks lining the beach, making it a perfect place to stay if you are looking for a quintessential slow-paced seaside holiday.
After our picnic, we walked the beach, collected beautiful coral, and swam in the warm waters. Since we had the entire beach to ourselves, Summer enjoyed some newfound freedom and the excitement of exploring on her own.
Tubkaek Beach is definitely a safe, family friendly destination or perfect for couples after a romantic evening watching the sunset!
