The Ritz-Carlton Osaka
With all of my posts about the Ritz this year, I’m sure you’re beginning to wonder if I get paid to advertise for them. Well, the answer is no. I don’t get paid or comped in any way to post about this luxury hotel chain. I do, however, have an affinity for beautiful hotels {I mean, who doesn’t… right?} and enjoy sharing my experiences with you!
Since we love staying at nice hotels and are not being paid to do so, there are several ways in which we save money in order to afford splurging occasionally when we travel. I will share more about our tips for saving money while traveling soon, however, since some of you may have plans to travel over the holidays, I would like to mention that most hotel chains have a membership rewards program. The Ritz, for example, offers free nights and complimentary room upgrades for repeat customers. For those of you who travel often, choose a hotel chain that is located where you are planning on traveling to and consider becoming a member in order to receive discounts, free night stays, and other great deals!
This past weekend, while visiting Osaka for their annual German Christmas Market, we took advantage of our Ritz Rewards and stayed at the stunning Ritz-Carlton, Osaka. Conveniently located near large shopping malls and upscale restaurants in the prestigious area of Nishi-Umeda, the Ritz-Carlton, Osaka was designed to look like an 18th century English manor house that has been elegantly decorated for the holidays. Naturally, the hotel has a ton of amenities, like upscale restaurants, piano bars, spa, and fitness center with a heated indoor pool, but the feature I found most unique at the Ritz Carlton, Osaka, was the variety of boutiques located throughout the main floor of the hotel.
